Using the UN Sustainable Development Goals to strengthen our work against poverty
Round 2, March 2017: Using our knowledge in our communities
These workshops will build on the exciting collaboration between EAPN Ireland and Comhlámh in November, where we explored the links between the UN Sustainable Development Goals and our day-to-day work fighting poverty on the ground. The second round will explore the skills and approaches bringing this knowledge back to our communities and the people we work with and their using them to influencing change.
They will build on the knowledge developed by participants in the first round of workshops last November/December. However, they are also suitable for those who did not attend and are less familiar with the Sustainable Development Goals. We will supply some advance material for those who did not attend the sessions in November and provide a recap on the Sustainable Development goals at the start of the workshops.
