Looking back and looking forward

This meeting is an opportunity to look back and take stock, to hear from some of those who were present during the social policy debates in 1973 and in the implementation of policy and to consider some of the current and future challenges facing Irish and European social policy.

•        Professor Hugh Frazer, NUIM: Challenges for European and Irish social policy

•        Orla O’Connor, Director National Women’s Council of Ireland: reflections on the future of gender equality policy

•        Robin Hanan, Director European Anti Poverty Network Ireland: reflections on the future of policy on social inclusion
